 In this salmon study, I explored various textures, patterns, and color relationships. The basic shapes were rendered using brushed on acrylic paints, and the detailed linework was executed with acrylic paint pens and various straight edges and an array of shape templates. Although it's a singular fish, the subject itself was inspired by Dr. Seuss' "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish."
