In reimagining Madonna’s 4th album cover, I stylized things without abstracting too much for recognizability. I primarily used a monochromatic palette of Blue + black and white and juxtaposed it with an Orange monochromatic palette for a Pop effect. While mapping out this piece in pencil on canvas, the fingers on the right hand were too fat, they looked like hot dogs! Not knowing what to do, I thought and thought. Then it came to me. I measured the width of the fingers on the left hand and reworked the “Hot Dog” fingers. An answer to Prayer.
