Dance of the Crow

After an evening of dancing, two couples wander home through City Park and come upon a crow doing its own jig. -- The Yellow + Black & White of this monochromatic piece creates a lush garden setting. The challenge within this painting (considering its multiple figures and expansive park/cityscape scene) is getting the color combination right. For example, most of the clothing on each character was painted and repainted several times until a balance of color, contract, and complement was achieved.
