Denny’s interpretation of the cover of Journey’s 1981 album, “Escape” came together quite nicely, with very few challenges. The most demanding part of this project was in the creation of a geometric shuttle that would stand out amongst the shimmering-like lines of shattered light. His initial idea with this reimagining was to use his crisscrossing-like plaid pattern to simulate the impact and motion of the elliptical space shuttle escaping the fragile orb, and it worked …eventually.
