In this salmon study I explored  various textures, patterns,  and color relationships.  The basic shapes were rendered using brushed-on acrylic paints, and the detailed line work was created with acrylic paint pens and various straight edges adn an array of shape templates. Although it's a singular fish, the subject itself was inspired by Dr. Seuss' "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish".
