McCartney’s Union Jack Höfner Bass

 McCartney played a Union Jack Höfner Bass during a performance of “Ob-La-Di, Ob-Li-Da” at Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. I cropped the image of a much larger painting at the same scale to capture and celebrate the Jubilance of the performance. With a monochromatic palette of Red + Black and White, and spot colors of Orange and Royal Blue, I created a fiery night sky to juxtapose the Jubilant crow and dynamic British Flag adorned Höfner Bass Guitar.
