I took a piece that was already in progress, that had an illustrative background, and reworked it into a geometric backdrop of Asymmetrical Symmetry. The palette employed is a Monochromatic one of Orange + Black and White, with four spot colors for accent and contrast. The two photographic references I used were a man gesturing toward a woman (I removed her and added a baseball and bat), and the second photograph used, showed a boy sitting barefoot on a bar stool (I replaced the bar stool with a wooden crate and added a baseball cap to enhance the theme). The title came from a song of the same name, off a Canadian, Prog-Metal album from 1976.
