 The main concept in Denny’s interpretation of the 1928 version of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, was to create a Siamese twin-like ligature. He has the two characters sharing the same nose, and their arms flow into one like a stick of black licorice. They’re like two peas in a pod. Another characteristic Denny explored was the ancient art of Egypt, called Frieze. Here he has the two mice in a classic Egyptian pose.
