In this Monochromatic piece of Asymmetrical Symmetry, I used a palette of Red + Black and White, with spot color of Ocean Blue. For the layout, I started with three partial ovals, then filled in the design with various geometric shapes. Most notably was the large sphere used to emulate the small planet. The vertical lined pattern (I call wallpaper), the pseudo plaid line work, circles, and curves were created with acrylic paint pens, circle and elliptical stencils, and straight edge.
