I adopted the brighter sleeves from the “Prado” Mona Lisa to add more color and contrast to my reimagining of Da Vinci’s master work. I also used this hue in the red clay of the midground, intensifying the color. In the same spirit, I exaggerated the basic color palette for a brighter composition with POP!! I also exaggerated her smile, making it a focal point of the painting, exemplifying the famous smirk.
