When reimagining a complex piece, the simplification of each element must be done thoughtfully. The biggest struggle Denny had with this work was the simplistic upper section. Initially, he had rendered it too complex. Denny reworked it several times, simplifying it more and more with each revision. Thus, creating his interpretation of RUSH’s 1981 album cover was not as easy as Moving Pictures.
