In this Monochromatic work of Asymmetrical Symmetry, I used a palette of Cobalt Blue + Black and White, with spot colors of Red and Ocean Blue. Neptune is not only a planet (which this painting depicts) but is also the Roman god of the sea. With that in mind, I incorporated scalloped shaped waves. To not have it too marine like, I added Red to contrast and complement the array of blue hues.
