After observing the subdivided center square and inverted right angle of my first Right/Left painting as it hung on our dining-room wall, I got the idea to enlarge this centerpiece as a painting unto itself.
Things don’t always translate well when you enlarge (or shrink) them. And that was the case with the compositional transferal from original to number two. I added additional squares, triangles, and diamonds to liven up the sparse layout. Plus descending circles of various sizes were introduced to render motion to this second installment of Left Brain and Right Angle.
