In the reimagining of Everclear’s 1997 album cover, Denny was captivated by the elliptical negative space between the three heads (and their legs), that he chose to echo those shapes geometrically in the background. Converting the title text line into a planal graphic, Denny treated the white portion as a semi-transparent Venn Diagram. In looking for a spot for his vertical striped line pattern, Denny isolated the application into one of the shirts for a taste of his style, and a visual afterglow.
