This piece originated as an abstract sagebrush composition, comprising intersecting, cascading curves that occupied the entire canvas area beneath the geometric sun motif. Executed in various sage hues and outlined in aqua, the sagebrush concept ultimately proved visually ineffective. Following numerous attempts, the idea was abandoned and reworked into a mountainous, abstract landscape. Only the wheel-like sun and upper design elements were retained from the initial layout. After exploring multiple title options, a suitable one could not be found, until my ten-year-old son proposed a suggestion...voilà.
