This Monochromatic piece uses a palette of Yellow + Black and White, with a spot color of bright Red. Using a photographic reference, I placed a gentle guitar player on a brick wall window ledge. Adding a sparce, sunny background and a solemn crow, I enhanced the wistful feeling of this early morning scene. To counter and contrast the soft green and grey hues, I changed the grey shoes found in the photo with some iconic Red and White shoes.
