This is a Monochromatic piece of Asymmetrical Symmetry. I rendered the work in Orange + Black and White, with spot colors of Cerulean and Ocean Blue. Where the two small circles overlap other shapes (including the border), I employed a Venn Diagram technique. To create the vertical striped sections (I call Wallpaper), I painted half inch wide stripes alternating between Orange and Light Grey as under painting, and then applied Black, Blue, and White lines over the top (leaving some orange and grey stripes visible) with acrylic paint pens and a straight edge.
