With this Monochromatic portrait study of Yellow + Black and White, I kept it simple due to the constraints of its 6” X 6” size. At first, I was going to have the sky blend (fade) from top to bottom with a pale yellow to white transition, but with the portrait being rendered in Black and White (with a hint of Yellow for warmth) I kept to the “Keep it simple” rule and used an overall sunny, pastel look.
